Letter from the Chairman, Prof. Martin Goodman

17th September, 2012

Dear Members,

We are pleased to inform members that for most of the 2013 lecture programme we shall be reverting to our traditional early evening time of 6 p.m. Most of our lectures will be held in the Institute of Archaeology in Gordon Square, where many members will recall that the Society held its meetings in earlier times. We shall continue to hold in other venues our annual joint lecture with other institutions, and we shall be adding to our programme an annual joint lecture with Kings College, where we have been made so welcome this past year. We shall continue to have occasional afternoon lectures in the British Museum, including the Richard Barnett Memorial Lecture on January 14th 2013 which will be given by Jonathan Tubb. We thank everyone who attends our lectures and hope you will continue to support us by bringing friends and relatives and inviting people you know to join the Society.

Martin Goodman

(Chairman)
